The Innovation Project™ will reshape how the industry creates, innovates, and acknowledges and celebrates its innovators.

Save the date: March 20-21, 2013 at Harvard University

The Innovation Project 2013, hosted by PYMNTS.com, is an exclusive convening of the most senior executives and elite innovators from literally every established payments company worldwide, along with the CEOs of the most innovative start-ups in the space. It’s goal is to tap the energy and intellect of the senior members of this vast and dynamic ecosystem and change the way that the payments and its broader commerce ecosystem thinks, talks, delivers and ignites innovation. We do this in ways that are different and unique.

We take the conversation about payments and commerce in an entirely new direction by mashing up industry CEOs with external thought leaders such as Al Gore (Apple Board member and former U.S. VP), Larry Summers (Square Board member and former Secretary of the Treasury), Steve Levitt (Freakonomics), Eric Ries (The Lean Startup), Rosie Rios (U.S. Treasurer), Russell Simmons (Rush Card), Raj Date (ex #2 at the CFPB),  Michael Barr (ex-U.S. Treasury and Dodd Frank architect) and Josh Lerner (HBS Prof who wrote Architecture of Innovation). These thought leaders will help challenge the conventional wisdom around what kind of payments industry innovation can ignite and inspire merchants and consumers to adopt new ways to shop and pay.

Event Location: Starts at Memorial Hall, 45 Quincy Street, between Cambridge and Kirkland Streets in Cambridge, MA. A Map of the University may be found here.
